Bengt and I squeezed in some time to grab some food and a movie before braving freezing temperatures to play at the The Treehouse. The name is quite literal as there is a tree growing in the middle of the stage area (wrapped in lights), giving the space a somewhat surreal atmosphere. I really liked the venue as a whole (there are several rooms including a bar, comfortable couches, and a pool table) and we got another night of widely varied music out of it (Lemming and Winter Makes Sailors). It was an immensely cold evening which resulted in a rather small, intimate show (and a break from uniform so I could warm my numb feet in my winter boots) but it was still a fun time. Plus, Wally got over his stage fright and made it through the set!
